I chanced upon the work of Rodney Smith recently and I've become a fan. I love the austere romance in his pictures, the clarity and the silence. They also proved to be inspiring canvasses for some artistic reflecting. I've been enjoying making collages on them with pictures I have taken, cool references I have collected and quotes I have received over the years... just sharing a few.
